What would be a good program for laying out an automotive electrical schematic? A schematic similar to the one you'd find in a service manual? Easy to learn The simpler the better.
thanks

Visio has native support for that stuff, I believe... plenty of free CAD packages on the net. Dan - Owner http://www.Hi-TecDesigns.com

"Eagle" may not be what you want for automotive schematics, but take a look at it.. There are freebie, light to commercial versions available and priced accordingly.
It has a ton of symbols loaded which is the usual shortcoming with the free programs.
The free and lite versions do limit you to one page at a time.. so you may need to buy it depending on the scope of your project. 字串3
