Does anybody have any experience of hot Stamping 'mild steel' rarther than High Strength steels, I am looking for information on reduced tonnage requirements, mechanical property changes, tool materials, heating and quenching periods.

Thanks

No experience with hot forming or forging, but I do know that H13 is a widely used steel for tooling.

I imagine a plot of yield stress against temperature would be a useful starting point. Cheers
